I am *MiE
I love to shop and travel, indulge in spas, massages, manicures and pedicures.. I loathe doing the housework, being nagged at, back-stabbers, irritating and irresponsible colleagues, unhygienic and inconsiderate assholes.

Sick...
Written on Monday, November 20, 2006 | back to top

Boohoo... I am sick... Not mentally but physically sick... Down with sorethroat, blocked nose, cough and headache... Look at this, it's my medicine!

So many different types... Just eating them is enough to make me even more ill! I had intended to go to work today, but after taking the cough mixture last night, I simply couldn't even open my eyes this morning. And sleeping in the air-con room made things worse, my throat felt so dry I thought my neck had broken.

Colleagues at work must be thinking I'm geng-ing. Who cares... Messaged my boss this morning to inform him I can't make it to work today. Usually he will just reply with a "Okie... Take care..." But today his reply was "Okie, take care... anything that need my help in the office?" This is strange, really strange.. He actually offered his help. Not that he will really help, but at least he offered to, yah.. A very pleasant surprise. Made me a bit guilty of sending out a few resumes over the weekend. Wonder when I will get called for interview. The jobs I applied for are very similar to what I am doing now, so I just feel that there is a high chance that I will get called for an interview.
