Tomorrow, day 24 of the fourth month, is the first year death anniversary of my late Grandma. Time really flies, Grandma has left me for a year. Talking or thinking abt her still brings tears to my eyes, I can still feel the heartache, feel the pain, the loss of losing someone so dear to me very vividly. Every now and then my mind will suddenly flash thots and images of Grandma, of our times together, me cutting her finger nails and toe nails for her, accompanying her down to the market on Sundays, watching "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" together... I really wish she had the chance to attend my wedding, to drink the tea that James and I will serve to her, to have a chance to see me get married... Gosh I really miss her very much. Wonder how she is coping in the other world... Whether she misses me as much as I miss her...

Does time really heal all wounds? The wound will heal eventually, and what will remain is a scar. Moving on with our lives does not mean that we have forgotten about her. What we can do is only to keep her in our memory, in our heart. We have no choice but to move on with our lives, but memories of Grandma will be forever etched in my mind.

Lately haven had the time to blog coz I have been busy sourcing for my wedding day photographer and videographer. All those that I wanted to engage are either booked on my wedding day, or their rates are way above our budget.

Supposed to go for 2nd gown fitting early May, but we reached there very late, end up have to fix another appointment to try my gowns.

I have lost 5 kg since Chinese New Year, lost one dress size. However lately there has not been any significant weight loss. Losing weight is always like that, you will hit a stale period whereby you get very discouraged and there does not seem to be any weight loss. Its not easy to lose all the weight that I had put on since I got to know James. I put on a freaking 10 kg!!! I put on 10 kg in 9 years, now I want to lose it in 9 months. However I must persevere on, I must make it to that mark.

It's tiring preparing for the wedding. However it is a joyous kind of tiredness that you feel at the end of the day. Though we may have our little arguements when trying to decide certain issues, we still feel very blissful after these bickerings. Hehe.. The most important thing is to enjoy the whole process, and that is what we are doing! Really looking forward to our big day...

I am back from shopping land, with more clothes and accessories, and no money. Absolutely broke, but thank goodness salary has been deposited into my bank account.
Did not take any pics of the clothes coz there are simply too many to take!

James was trying to outwin me with his buys, but pls lo, how much can a guy buy? And what can guys buy? Shorts, shirts, tees, polo tees, pants, jeans, shoes, slippers, boxers, watches, bags... All that he can buy, I also can buy! On top of that, ladies still can buy dresses, skirts, bras, earrings, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, rings, hair pins, hair clips, scrungies, high heels, handbags, makeup. Wahahaha... I am the winner.

Now come to think of it, not a lot hor... But when we were packing on the last night, it seemed like a lot! We went with one small trolley luggage that weighed 11kg, came back with the same trolley luggage, 2 additional bags and 1 carton of dried foods, total weight is 29.6kg (missed the 30 kg mark by 400g!)
