Am blogging from my phone! Isn't this phone handy? I get to surf net n stay connected regardless of where I am.
My baby turned 7 months old yesterday. It's been a long and short 7 months I would say. Long coz it's 7 months (ya, and many more to come). Short coz I felt that the time passed without me really noticing it. It was like just moments ago I lugged my heavily rounded stomach everywhere I go, and now she is sleeping next to me, with her softly breathing n smelly head right in front of my nose.
I have enjoyed the past 7 months with her (and counting) and I cannot imagine what my life is like without this bub. She makes me look forward to going home each day, and chases away all the unhappiness I had experienced at work, all with a cheerful smile and loud giggles.
Though I am a little sad I cannot be a sahm and be with her 24/7, I am glad in another way coz work does help me keep my sanity (and sometimes makes me insane!) and not forgetting the moolahs. That's why my weekends and after office hours are always dedicated to my precious baby. I want to spend all my time with her, she is my life now.
Some friends may not understand (though they claim they understand) why after being parents, many have to forgo a lot of "me" time. And the moment you decide you want to be a parent, that's when the sacrifices start. No, I wouldn't call them sacrifices, coz I forgo such stuffs willingly. I dun feel that I'm sacrificing for my little bub. I love my baby, she is all that I'm looking forward to everyday!
