Fwah... Our q number is
7914 for the "Bi-monthly Sale of 4-room and Bigger Flats" in the recent Sector C (for mature estates)!!! We were not even given a selection date coz the number of flats up for selection is only
354, and our queue number is so freaking lousy! All the crap about what first timers have higher chances, living near parents will enable us to have a higher possibility of getting our hands on our flat sooner... These are all bullshit! This is our 3rd try, and the results are getting more and more disappointing with every try. Just when the PM was announcing the new rules and regulations on the HDB flat selection criteria, and we are thrown with such a disappointing result. We have already wasted $30 on these tries and with no results at all. So we are being forced to... go for the re-sale flats in the open market. Fwah... I really do NOT wish to let those bloody agents earn the 1% commission... Damn!
Tampines Metro Sales is going to end tomorrow, 10 August. So today Mum and I went there for one last time, to grab whatever we think is necessary. I bought a kitchen knife and a frying ladle (I can't get the proper name for that, but I think most of you should know what I am referring to... Those utensils that our mums use for cooking... Not soup ladle...) for my soon-to-come home. Total damage at Metro - $80. Not bad, din spend a lot. :) Then G2000 is having their end season sales now, and yesterday I had already bought 2 skirts (at $23 each!) and 2 pants (at $19 each!). And I am really in need of somemore working pants, so off I went to grab more clothes. Bought 4 skirts, 2 blazers and one pair of pants. Total damage $210 only! Freaking cheap for so many items! Anyway I am a satisfied woman today! :D
The other day James and I went to Metro, we bought $500+ worth of things at only $100+ (ok, its almost $200). Bought a saucepan, a pot, full set of cutlery, air-tight container, queen-sized quilt to prepare for our up-and-coming home. We are slowly stocking up, so that when our home is ready, we would not have to spend a lot on these kitchen items at one go... In fact, we had already bought some during our Japan trip! Haha... Very gan cheong ah? But I think it's a clever move to start preparing early.
Take our flat for example, we did not prepare and plan in advance, and now that we want to get married, we can't. Coz we would have no roof over our heads. I mean of coz we can stay with my parents (I would love to!) but Dad has his own set of ideas... Anyway, I hope the next HDB selection would give us some hope.. If not we would really have to go for agent resale flats in the open market... (Gosh, I really dun wish to pay the agents that 1% commission!)
My tag board is finally up! Actually my previous blog had a tag board, and I had the intention to put up the tag board in this blog, but..... I forgot my log-in name and password! Hahaha... Silly right? Anyway I managed to resolve that, and yupz, here's my tag board!
I have been spree-ing a tad too much last month... My loots are not here yet though... Bought 2 dresses, 1 blouse, 3 bags, 1 skirt and 2 tops (t-shirt mat type)... One of the bags should be in soon, coz they are on the way to Singapore! At least am seeing frequent updates by this organiser, the rest are not as prompt in updating. Tsk, when can I get all my clothes! Running out of clothes to wear already!
