I bought my wedding heels... Yippee!!! So heypeeeee!!! Costs me $96 from Anna Nucci... It's a shop on level 3 of Far East Shopping Centre. They sell so many designs of wedding shoes that I nearly couldn't make up my mind which pair I wanted...

I am superly utterly broke. My UOB bill came in the mail 2 days ago. It is a whopping $2k plus. Kaoz... It's all the honeymoon deposit la.. Arghz.. Darling says he will pay. Heng sia... Hehe

And being so broke, I still cannot resist any sales. Damn.. Received from Ah Nei an email saying that got L'oreal sales in Suntec. I saw that Biotherm also got sales, so I insisted on going down to "TAKE A LOOK". Wa seh, it's not L'oreal sales lo, it is Tangs Bazaar sale! How can I not buy anything leh? Another hole burnt, now I really have to eat grass and drink rainwater le.



There were many many brands of luggage trolleys on sale there. The Samsonite was like only $200+, but all their colours are damn ugly. Delsey was $300+, and it comes in a rather sweet pastel purple. I was actually thinking of getting the Samsonite black colour one, but the colour is really ugly lo. I cannot make myself buy it, needless to say use it. Then consider the Delsey, $300+ for a luggage, I also cannot make myself buy it, somemore is purple, not pink, and so expensive sia.


In the end, I chose a not durable brand - BeverlyHills Polo Club that is only $106 nia. According to Darling who is the luggage expert, this brand no good de. But I cannot be bothered le la, the Samsonite is ugly, the Delsey is too expensive le.



The ideal one that I wanted to buy was this Lojel brand with the nicest and shiniest luggage trolley. They have it in many colours, but this Sales doesn't carry it in Pink!!! Only have black and white. And again, darling was saying it's not a good brand.



So I ended up chosing this Beverly brand one, and got the biggest which is 39" (but still smaller than Nel's TV la), and the most important factor is, it comes in PINK! Okok, not totally pink, but silver with pink stripes. Wahaha... The happiest buy of the day ~ my pink luggage trolley!!!





Wanted to buy a matching pink luggage strap de, but Darling say dun waste this kind of unnecessary money coz Mummy has one good luggage strap le, and we bought another one in Japan. So no matching luggage strap le lor.



Oh, and here's the winter coat that I bought at the Natas Fair. Comes with a detachable furry hood! Super nice..




And I need to buy a pair of good boots, the pair I bought at Bugis is not good enough I feel. Sharon got a nice pair at Charles & Keith... But I think lately no boots can be found anywhere leh... If anybody see any pretty boots, pls let me know hor... I wanna buy cream coloured ones to match my winter coat and my cap! Erm, I think brown will do too! Wahaha...

Met up with our videographer on Monday night at Toa Payoh Central. This guy has worked with the photographer countless of times le, and I am relieved to know that both of them are of similar patterns. Haha.. And we do not have to worry abt any conflicts arising from any of them. Relatively reasonable package that he has offered us.

12 hours coverage on Actual Day, with one split timing in between. Additional $200 for video express highlights to be played during the banquet.

Total is $1000, not inclusive of photo montage (which will be anadditional $150).

Darling is not very impressed with his photo montage, coz we viewed a few of his photo montage (the childhood photos etc), all seemed to be similar, even the font he used is also the same. If I am not wrong, he is using one template for all. Easy bucks for him eh... So photo montage KIV first.

Ok, paid $200 deposit and VG confirmed.

Maybe I should do the montage myself or we can ask our friends for help, am quite sure the works will be nicer than his lo. First person that came to my mind was, Yisen! Wa seh, ok, must find a chance to ask him le... But first and foremost, have to go and dig out all the baby photos and pak toh photos le... Pak toh photos easy, coz they are all in my scrapbook le, it's the baby and childhood photos.

Next on the list to settle will be wedding shoes, Guo Da Li items, guests list.

05August (Tuesday)

Tuesday was our 110th Month-sary. Together for 110th month. Damn long sia.. Hehe.. Wanted to catch a movie but all the show timings are not in favour. Thus we went for dinner at Sakae Teppanyaki at Cineleisure. Eh, nothing very fantastic leh.. It felt more like a garlic meal. Everything is sooo garlicky. Anyway I feel that it's just normal. I prefer to eat the $6.80 Teppanyaki at Tampines Mall. Haha...

And so qiao, Monday night Darling and I were just talking abt askingYisen for help on our photo montage, Tuesday lunch time I saw him atE-Hub (Pasir Ris), he was having lunch with a pretty babe at the HKG Cafe. I never disturb him, I only sent him an SMS nia. Hehe... AnywayI took the opportunity to ask him for help, he readily agreed. Steady la, these are the frens whom you know will save you when you need help! Goodz de la.. Ok, no need to worry abt the montage le. Need to find atime to sort out the photos.

06 August (Wednesday)
Wednesday night was like the first time I took the feeder bus home on myown ever since we got our car. Wa seh, I had almost forgotten how it feels like to take public transport le... And it sux. Wahaha...Getting a bit too reliant on XiaoBai now, but can't help it. No point having a car when you dowan to rely on it right? Hehe..

Darling was to meet his friends that night, so he came to fetch me from office after work, and drove me to Tampines Mall, then he went to meet his friends. So after my shopping expedition, I had to take a bus or a cab home. I chose the former coz aku is broke. Can't believe it right, just got my pay a week ago and I am broke already. Yupz, I am just so so so broke and short of cash now.

10 August (Sunday)
Sunday I received a not so good news. One of my jiemeis told me via SMS that she can't be my jiemei coz she is leaving for the states one day before my AD (Acutal Day). Extremely disappointed. And I feel very un-appreciated and that she does not value me as a fren enough. She me before about her upcoming trip to USA in December, a free and easy trip with her girlfriend, and she would arrange in such a manner that it will not clash with my big day. And having received such an sms from her yesterday afternoon, made me super disappointed and kindapissed. Even if we have not seen each other for ages, we can still pickup from where we last stopped and continue and talk as if the sun doesn't set, talk as if there was no lapse in time. Imagine this is the fren whom had a pact with you to betrothe our kids or let them grow up together, grow old together with you, and read our diaries and our children and grandchildren. A friend this close. Words are not able to describe the unhappiness and disappointment I am feeling right now. It feels somesort of a betrayal. And I think that I deserve an explanation call more than just a mere SMS.

Ok, shit happens like what Nel always says. So I have to start my merry-go-round again, and find someone to replace her. Someone whom James and I feel comfortable with and will also be able to click other 2 (not including my little sister la).

And within the same day, I found out a very good and happie news!Another good fren has been proposed to!!! So happie for her... Hehe..Going to meet her to find out more details... Welcome to the "Soon-to-be-Mrs" Club!!!

Spent the whole night going through our photographs. Realised that there are so many photos that I would love to use, but we dowan to make the montage too lengthy and bore the guests, afterall who would be so interested in so many of our life events yah? More or less my photos have been confirmed, Darling shall try to scan them in his office powerful scanner, if all fails, then will have to pass the hard copy photos to Yisen already... Hehe...

We have finally decided our venue for our honeymoon! Yeah.. Initially we shortlisted New Zealand, Hokkaido and Europe. First plan was to go Hokkaido with Mummy and Daddy. But after hearing Mag and Meg tell me abt how boring its going to be like in Hokkaido, I am kinda turned off by the idea of going to Hokkaido for honeymoon.

So, we are going Europe! *Din even want to consider New Zealand, not "honeymoony" enough leh. Yeah... Wun be going all over Europe la, coz we dowan a touch and go kinda trip. We wanna explore the place properly, but well, joining a tour group will not allow us to properly explore all the places also, but at least we will have proper explanations and guides to bring us along.

Have shortlisted a few places, namely Italy, France and Switzerland. Actually if given a chance, I would love to go Germany, Amsterdam and Holland. But time and money does not permit that... But never mind, I am a happy girl already! My darling loves me most! Yeah yeah yeah!

We booked a 15D Europe tour with Tradewinds during the NATAS Fair. Covering exactly the 3 places we wanted! And most importantly, their intinerary includes one full day F&E in Paris!!! Can you guess what I am thinking? *Wink wink* Hehehe...

Got to know there will be another honeymoon couple (their AD is 06 Dec). We are travelling on a 13 hour SQ direct flight to FCO (Rome in case you are not in my line, you wun know FCO = Rome). Am rather worried abt this direct flight, the 7 hours flight to Japan already got me exhuasted, this is 6 hours longer leh. Wonder if I will be able to fall asleep on the plane. Anyway per pax is $4549 (inclusive of fuel and taxes), thus total is $9098.. Woo... Darn expensive ah... But the most important thing is to enjoy ourselves! Guess this will be the furthest we will be travelling for the next few years... No more European travelling for the next 3 years? Never mind, still got Australia and New Zealand to go... Wahahaha... :D

Time to start shopping for winter wear already!!! Did I mention that I already started buying? Hehe... Bought a winter jacket (furry furry type with a hood one) during the NATAS Fair.. Only $49 lo... And it's very pretty okie! Need to get my earmuffs, mittens (or gloves la) and socks... Already bought the cap and boots (read previous entry)... Oops... Yeah, was so certain we're going Europe so I started on my shopping list and actioned on them already.

Whole week I have been shopping with the shopping queen. She is as excited as me about my honeymoon. Wahahaha... Keke... So during the day whilst at work, we will be discussing about it, coming up with things to buy. And I am starting to prepare for my honeymoon trip already! More excited about my honeymoon than the upcoming wedding. Hehe...

The past past weekend I was in pain. I was sick, really not feeling well kinda sick. Took MC on Wednesday (geng one), then Thursday went back to office, I really felt super duper uncomfortable. Went home same time, then immediately fell asleep. Darling was supposed to be working late that day, but he knew I wasn't feeling well, so he rushed home, to find me deep asleep on his side of the bed (no change of clothings, no wash up, nothing.. filthy.. as in original state from after knocking off.. Erm.. I always like to nua on his side when I haven bathe, coz I dowan to dirty my sleeping area! So mean hor.. hehe) So upon touching my forehead, he realised I was running a fever, so immediately he ran down to get a Q number at the Doc's. So I was given 2 days MC, Friday and Saturday.

Friday I stayed at home alone, with the occassional bouts of diarrhoea and stomach pain. Saturday morning I was damn damn damn sick, fever shot to 38.2. Slept the whole Saturday.

Sunday was finally well enough to walk abt and went out gai-gai. Erm, yes, we went out gai-gai when I was not even fully recovered yet. Went to Marina Square to collect our wedding bands, and also to scout ard for our poster bed. Went home with our beautiful wedding bands nia... I love our wedding bands, it was love at first sight for both of us...
