Darling's going for reservist soon... for 3 whole weeks sia... Wonder how I am going to survive the 3 weeks, only able to see him on weekends. What shall I do on weekdays after work? So on Saturday (21 June), I bought a book at Harris (Great World City) to keep myself occupied when he's not around.

I love to read, but I cannot really bear to part away with the money to buy these paperbacks. These paperbacks usually cost about $18, spending hundred bucks on nails is nothing to me, but I actually stinge at spending $20 on these soul-enriching books! Haha... Ya, that's right. I am a miser at these.
The title of the book caught my eye, and without hesitation, I took the book from the shelve and read the prologue, something that I must do to determine if I like the style of writing and the contents. This prologue is really powerful, it is a simple letter from a dying mother to her children, hit me right in the heart, made my eyes glisten with tears at the bookstore, and with the tears threatening to flow out from the corner of my eyes, I knew I had to get this book. And this book is not cheap hor, it costs $35, twice the amount the paperbacks I usually read. However I am certain that I will not regret buying this book.
