Wow, so many entries at one go. Its been really long since I update yah! :D
HomeWell well well, Number 2 is getting married in April, and my wedding bells are ringing too, at the end of 2008, and also that James and I will be staying with Mum and Dad for the next 3 years at least, Mum decided that we had better renovate the bathroom in the masterbed room (which is the room that I am currently occupying and will still continue to occupy after marriange). This bathroom is in a pretty bad state right now - WC is leaking, floor tiles are dirty (regardless of how much scrubbing I have done), floor is not even which resulted in puddles of water, wash basin looks as though it might fall any moment, wooden door is rotting away, etc... Really terok yah... So this 'save the bathroom' process will happen tomorrow (25 March) and costs $1.5k to change everything (minus the wall tiles)
And with my wedding coming up, I thot it would be better to change our wardrobe to a bigger one. His working clothes are currently occupying some space in Dad's wardrobe coz our current wardrobe is extremely small and is only enough to put
part of my clothes. Yes, part of my clothes. And there are clothes stacked everywhere in my room. Extremely messy. And as I had joked to Brenda, my room would need more than 3 months to tidy up! Haha.. Yeah, that is how messy my room is.
So on 16 March, we went in search of a suitable cupboard. Suitable in the sense of space, area occupancy, and also the price. We cannot get a 4D coz the L-shape table and queen sized bed already occupies quite a bit of space and we only have enough space area to get a 3D. Actually a 3D wardrobe is not sufficient for me and James, but with some tidying up (I mean a lot of tidying up), I think it should be enough la. Finally set my eyes on one 3 door wardrobe and that set me back by $1.3k. And yippie, my new cupboard is coming 4th April!
With the wardrobe coming in 1st Friday of April and the renovation works of the bathroom happening tmr, we had to do a "save the room" act yesterday. Spent the whole Sunday tidying up our room, threw away lots of clothes, I think about 5 bags of clothes. And had to shift the TV onto the L shaped table, have to throw away the moveable TV consol in the room to make room for walking space when the wardrobe comes. This "save the room" act left me with a runny nose and headache for the night... :( But at least my room is a lot cleaner and tidier now! Next "save" will be the accessories and miscellanous items still left in my wardrobe. Will have to leave that for next Sunday already!
